The 2010 Sichuan Changjiang Vocational College (SCCVC) held an opening ceremony at the college stadium at 9:30 am on 21 September 2010, all the teachers and students witnessed this historic moment. The Deputy of Director of Sichuan Provincial Education Department Mr. Su Yong, the President of SCCVC Mr. Lu Guangjun, Vice-President Ms. Zhang Lili and Mr. Han hu, the Head of the Department of Economics and Management Mr. Hu Xiaoquan and the Associate Head of the Department of Electronics and Information Science Mr. Quan Xuecheng attended the opening ceremony, which presided over by Vice-President Ms. Zhang Lili.
The Associate Head of the Department of Electronics and Information Science Mr. Quan Xuecheng made a speech on behalf of the college.
He said to all new students: the teachers of SCCVC will strive to do preaching, tuition, caring for each student, so that every student in SCCVC will grow actively and happily.
The Accounting student Ms. Ren Yulin made a speech as 2010 student representative.
She expressed the gratitude of the College that will start a positive attitude for their learning, with the efforts and the growth of knowledge to enrich their life.

In his impassioned speech, he expended the expectations and requirements for the students of SCCVC. He wish all the best for students represented by Sichuan Provincial Education Department. Also he hope SCCVC do their best for students, society and the development of higher Vocational College in Sichuan.
The president of SCCVC Mr. Lu Guangjun delivered an important speech at the opening ceremony.
Firstly, Mr. Lu thanked to the Deputy of Director of Sichuan Provincial Education Department Mr. Su to attend the ceremony. Secondly, he thanked all the faculty members for their hard working. Thirdly, he congratulated for all the 2010 new students enrolled to SCCVC to pursued advanced studies. Mr. Lu briefly introduced the development, history, educational philosophy and characteristics of SCCVC. Finally, Mr. Lu wish all the teachers and students have a great Mid-Autumn Festival.
